SOLD Antique 15ct Gold Diamond Daisy Cluster Ring
A pretty diamond ring from the late Victorian period, c1890s. The ring is made from 15ct gold and has a lovely wide D shaped shank. The central daisy design is made up of old mine cut diamonds that have been claw set. This beautiful flower is likely to have come from a stick pin or other piece of jewellery and the shank and flower appear to be a marriage that has been created in antiquity. The shank is fairly chunky for this style and design, though this is what appeals to me in this instance as it creates an entirely individual ring. A lovely quality and heavy shank with a delicate flower. Perfect worn alone or added to a stack of rings. It is also incredibly comfortable on the finger.
