Antique 18kt Gold Petite Diamond Dormeuse Earrings
A beautiful and petite pair of earrings from the early 20th Century, c1915. The earrings are made from 18kt gold and are French in origin with the eagle head hallmark on the hooks. They are yellow gold to the back and white gold to the front with lovely rose diamonds, claw set into the tops and mixed cut diamonds in the bottom claw settings. The diamonds are around an H colour and SI1 clarity with the bottom diamonds measuring approx 2.6mm in diameter and the top diamonds measuring just under 2mm each. The settings both have a scalloped edge giving each one the look of a flower. They are a lovely pair of little earrings that would work perfectly for everyday as they have the dormeuse fastenings making them very secure in the ear.
