    A beautiful quality signet ring from the early 20th Century, c 1910s. The signet depicts a raised arm wearing armour with an axe in the hand. It feels to be a sign of strength and resistence and is the family crest of some historical names. Fairbairn describes the crest as 'an arm in armour holding in the hand a battleaxe' and it is associated with the names Ferrand, Gibbs, Argall, Leveson and Quilter.


    Materials - 9ct Gold (tested)

    Age - C1910s

    Size - The head of the signet measures 10mm high by 9mm wide

            Ring size US 5 1/2  UK L

    Condition - Excellent. Very faint mark from a previous resizing - noted for accuracy only.
