SOLD Antique 9ct Gold Rock Crystal Egg with Chrysoberyl
A wonderful egg shaped pendant, believed to be from the turn of the last century, c1900. The pendant is a lovely piece of rock crystal with a slightly frosted outer appearance. Etched into the crystal is the form of a ribbon with the two sides of ribbon travelling down each side of the egg and meeting at the bottom in a bow. At the centre of the bow is a lovely chrysoberyl set in a gold frame. The chrysoberyl has a lovely citrusy colour and shines vibrantly from within. Such a pretty piece and a fairly large size for this type of pendant.
This pendant will come on the 14kt gold fill chain as pictured, though it would also look good on a chunkier style chain.
