SOLD Antique French 18ct Gold Cherub/Souvenir Enamel Locket
A beautiful and unusual locket from the turn of the last century, c1900. The locket is made from solid 18ct gold and is likely French in origin. It has a beautiful and elegant construction and the gold is a rich yellow colour. To the front is a an enamel cherub in soft greys, golds and pinks. This has faded with age, though it is still very visible and a thing of beauty. To the back is the word 'Souvenir' in white enamel. On the inside is one single frame that has lost its original glass. It opens on a hinge to allow you to place your own photo behind.
The locket will come on a 14kt gold fill chain as pictured.

Condition - Very good. Faded enamel as noted.
