Art Deco 9ct Gold Amethyst Paste Spider Pendant
A pretty and unusual pendant from the early 20th Century, c1930s. The pendant is made from 9ct gold and has been formed in the shape of a spider. The spider is a fairly good size with the amethyst coloured glass stones making up the chunky rectangular body and round head. The eight legs are beautifully curved to give the pendant a pretty, stylised appearance and the spider hangs off centre for a lovely decorative effect.
The pendant hangs on a 9ct gold chain from the period. The chain measures approx 15 1/2" long.
