SOLD Art Deco 9ct Gold Briolette Drop Earrings
A wonderful pair of earrings from the Art Deco period, c1920s. The earrings are made from 9ct gold and have wonderful bright blue glass paste stones. The bottom pastes are particular beautiful as they are briolette cut, meaning that they have a wonderful teardrop shape that has been faceted throughout to allow the light to play off the glass. There are round faceted stones set in gold collets at the top and a pretty and elegant chain linking the two. When worn, the earrings move beautifully in the ear and they are all original.
