SOLD Art Deco 9ct Gold Spacer Bangle
A pretty and elegant bangle from the mid 1920s. The bracelet is made from 9ct gold and has a malleable form allowing it to slip over the hand with relative ease. The way in which the bracelet moves indicates that there is an internal wire which has been threaded through the solid gold box links. Interspersed around the bracelet are four points each made up of two green glass beads with a faceted clear glass bead in between. This style of spacer is quite classic to the era, though I have not seen a bangle such as this and see them mainly on chain necklaces. A pretty and unusual piece.
