SOLD Art Deco Diamond & Pearl Drop Necklace
A wonderful necklace from the early Art Deco period, c1920s. The necklace exhibits the most beautiful combination of diamonds and pearls with two fairly sizeable Old European cut diamonds. The first measures approx 4mm in diameter and is set in a diamond shaped setting. The second measures approx 3.5mm in diameter and is in a fitted millegrain setting. Based on the mm measurements in the setting, there is around 0.4 of a carat of diamonds across the two gemstones. Hanging from these two beautiful stones is a pearl drop with a rose diamond encrusted setting. The pearl has a beautiful lustre with a slight grey appearance and the diamonds are eye clean with plenty of sparkle throughout. The whole piece hangs on a 14kt white gold chain with a bar and bail clasp making it very secure on the neck. A truly wonderful piece in excellent condition, with all original stones.
