SOLD Art Deco Platinum Diamond Star Ring

A stunning and unusual ring from the Art Deco period, c1930s. The ring is made from platinum throughout and has a wonderful star design at the top, which is studded with diamonds. There is a slightly larger diamond at the centre, which is individually set in a rub over setting. This central diamond measures approx 3mm in diameter, around 0.1 of a carat. This ring is beautifully made and appears to be all original. Such a lovely design and very eye-catching on the hand.

Size - The star measures approx 17mm in diameter

        Ring size  UK J 1/4  US 4 3/4  There is evidence that this ring has been sized down at some point. It could be sized up again within reason.

Condition - Very good. Some signs of securing the centre diamond to the back of the ring, not at all evident from the front. It is secure

Weight - 4.23g
