SOLD Art Nouveau Enamel & Diamond Pansy Pendant
This is an absolutely stunning pendant from the late Art Nouveau period. It is made from 14kt gold by a company called Larter & Sons who have been fine jewelry makers since 1865. The pansy is marked with their makers mark on the back. The enamel is a wonderful violet blue and the detail of the flower is excellent. At the centre of the enamel is a lovely diamond, which measures approximately 3mm in diameter meaning it weighs approximately 0.1 of a carat. A truly remarkable pendant, highly sought after, that would look beautiful on the neck.
It can also be worn as a brooch pin and the pendant bale has the ability to be tucked behind out of view.
