SOLD Late Edwardian 15ct Gold Madeira Citrine Necklace
A pretty and simply designed necklace from the early 1920s. The necklace has three wonderful geometric madeira citrines set in a row across the neck. They are hexagonal in shape and the necklace is a good representation of the cross over from the Edwardian period into the cleaner lines of the Art Deco period. The citrines themselves have the deep brown-orange glow that is typical of the madeira colour and seem to change shade in different lights. A truly elegant piece made entirely of 15ct gold and all original.
