SOLD Edwardian 10kt Gold Chalcedony Wheat Sheaf Carved Ring
A beautiful ring from the early 20th Century, c1910. The ring has a wonderful piece of white chalcedony set into a solid 10kt gold mount. The chalcedony has the precise carving of a wheat sheaf with a bird resting on top. The wheat sheaf symbolises charity and love and has been used in Christian symbolism for many years. The carving is beautifully done and in excellent condition. The little stripe of orange that crosses the agate adds to the stones charm. A wonderful and fairly large statement ring.
