SOLD Edwardian 10kt Gold Opal & Ruby Cluster Ring
A pretty ring from the Edwardian period, c1905. The ring is made from 10kt gold and has a beautiful fiery opal at the centre, which has been claw set in a slightly raised mount. The opal has a real rainbow of colours that glisten prettily in all lights. Surrounding the opal is a halo of rubies. The rubies are a wonderful pink that compliments the opal perfectly. They have been set to create a scalloped edge to the ring. The shank is an elegant design with a subtle ridged look. A very pretty and elegant ring.
