SOLD Edwardian 15ct Gold Diamond & Blue Zircon Necklace
A stunning and eye-catching necklace from the Edwardian period, c1910. The necklace is in the lavalliere style with a single drop that hangs down the decolletage; a classic style from this period. The necklace has three little diamonds set in a trefoil arrangement at the top of the elegant stem. To the bottom is a wonderful and vibrant blue zircon, very likely natural due to the fact that is certainly original to the piece. A stunning example of this gem, it has the lovely greenish undertones synonymous with blue zircons.
The necklace is entirely original and is made from 15ct gold, marked as such on the barrel clasp of the chain and on the outside of the gold setting of the zircon.
