• SOLD Edwardian 18ct Gold Chunky Diamond 'Star Set' Ring

This item is out of stock

A beautiful ring from the late Victorian/early Edwardian period. The ring is made from 18ct gold, hallmarked on the inside of the shank, and has three wonderful old cut diamonds set across the top. The diamonds are lovely and chunky and are in excellent condition with no nicks or scrapes. They draw a little colour and are around a K, though their clarity is excellent, around VS2. The centre stone is larger than the others and measures a little over 4mm in diameter making it around 0.25 of a carat. The outer two diamonds measure approx 3.2mm in diameter each, making them around 0.25 of a carat in total giving the ring an approximate carat total of 0.5. The diamonds have lovely high tables and sit prominently out of their star shaped settings. A truly wonderful ring - very wearable whilst making a statement.
