Edwardian 18ct Gold Opal Solitaire Ring
A simple ring from the Edwardian period, dated Chester 1913. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold and has a lovely crisp English hallmark on the inside of the shank. It is a beautiful understated design with a little opal in a fairly chunky (for the size of stone) rub over setting. The opal is fairly rubbed, though it still exhibits plenty of fire and a rainbow of colours throughout. A perfect period ring for stacking and a lovely quality piece.
