A truly wonderful ring from the late Edwardian period, dated Birmingham 1916. The ring is made from 18ct gold and has a full English hallmark to the inside of the shank. There are three beautiful vibrant synthetic rubies set across the top. The rubies are such a wonderful pink and really catch the eye on the hand. These rubies appear to be all original making them examples of some of the early synthetic gemstones. They are interspersed with four decent sized old cut diamonds and the whole ring sparkles beautifully. When viewed from the side, the gallery of the ring has beautiful etching there and this is a truly wonderful quality piece.
