SOLD Edwardian 18ct Gold Tourmaline Trilogy Ring
An unusual and eye-catching ring from the Edwardian period, circa 1905. The ring is made from 18ct yellow gold and is a trilogy style, with 3 candy coloured gemstones set across the top. The gems are all tourmalines of varying colours and are claw set in a traditional form. The lime green gem could be a peridot as it has a very similar colour and refractive index to tourmaline, but the likelihood is that the original jeweler would have used variations of the same gemstone.
A lovely ring showcasing the spectrum of colours that a tourmaline can be found in. Beautiful on the finger and very comfortable to wear.
