SOLD Edwardian 9ct Gold Aquamarine & Pearl Necklace
A pretty and elegant necklace from the Edwardian period, c1905. The necklace is made from 9ct gold and has two beautiful aquamarines that have been claw set with a gold stem between them, a classic design from this period. The stones are a wonderful pale blue and have been beautifully faceted to allow the light to play through them. The 9ct gold has a lovely rich glow and there are two little seed pearls to finish the piece. All original and in lovely condition.
Materials - 9ct Gold (marked on the clasp), Aquamarine, Seed Pearls
Age - C1905
Size - The bottom aquamarine measures approx 8mm square. The pendant measures 36mm long.
Chain of necklace measures just over 16" long
Condition - Very good. The larger aquamarine has a chip to one side (the left), this has been reflected in the price and does not affect the stability of the stone in this instance. Please see photos. Otherwise the stones and facets are very clean.
