• SOLD Edwardian 9ct Gold Australian Military Memorial Locket Ring

    £0.00

This item is out of stock

A lovely example of WW1 memorabilia, dated Chester 1918. The ring is made as a signet style and has an opening locket to the front panel. It is fully engraved on the front with the abbreviations 'Aus. Com. Mil. Fs', which relates to the Australia Commonwealth Military Forces. These words are surrounded by the Rising Sun Badge, which is a distinctive and known emblem of the Australian armed forces, particularly throughout both World Wars. This ring appears to have been made in England (as it is complete with full English hallmarks) and has been made in memory of a soldier from the First World War. His picture still remains in the locket and the piece appears to be fully original. A truly beautiful piece of memorabilia, it is also a lovely gold signet ring that could have your own picture added if you so desired.
