A classic and beautiful bracelet from the early part of the 20th Century, c1915. The bracelet is made from 9ct gold and has little flat rectangular links. Covering the entire top of the wrist is an array of rainbow gemstones. Having tested each one on a refractometer, the range appears to be spinel, tourmalines (of varying colours), Citrine, Quartz (of varying colours, the centre largest stone is a smokey quartz), garnet and amethyst, with one pale green stone at the very end testing as glass. All the stones are in excellent condition with no chips or scrapes and with clean facets. A lovely piece in beautiful condition. The gemstones are graduated in size with the central smokey quartz measuring approx 10mm in diameter and the smallest gems at either end measuring approx 6mm each.
