SOLD Edwardian 9ct Gold Opaline Pendant
£0.00
A stunning and interesting pendant from the Edwardian period, circa 1905. The pendant is made from 9ct gold, marked on the outside of the frame. It has a pretty double edged frame, with a tear drop shaped pendulum in the centre of opaline glass. Opaline is a form of glass that mimics the fabulous colour play of opal and this particular piece has a milky appearance with undertones of orange and blue. The colour changes significantly in different lights and it makes a wonderful necklace.
The pendant hangs on a 14kt gold fill chain measuring 18" in length.
