SOLD Edwardian 9ct Gold Pink Tourmaline Solitaire Pendant
A pretty and vibrant pendant from the Edwardian period, c1910. The pendant is made from 9ct gold and has a fabulous pink tourmaline gemstone set in a four claw setting. The pink tourmaline has a wonderful colour and, as is customary of this lovely gemstone, the pink changes tone in various lights. To the top is a simple bail with a little seed pearl set at the bottom.
The pendant hangs on an 18" 14kt gold fill chain, which is included in the price.

Size - The pink tourmaline measures approx 11mm in diameter making it approx 4.5cts.
Condition - Good. The tourmaline is fairly included, quite common with this gemstone and has a tiny nibble to one edge, noted for accuracy only and only visible through magnification. The stone remains stable and should be worn with care.
