Edwardian 9ct Gold Turquoise Paste & Pearl Negligee Necklace
A stunning necklace from the Edwardian period, c1910. The necklace is made from 9ct gold and has been made in the negligee style with a central stone at the top and two pendants hanging from this. The pendants are on lovely long chains giving this necklace beautiful proportions. The turquoise appear to be turquoise paste stones and have the most stunning vibrant colour. They are fairly deep cabochons and set in closed back gold settings. Each chain between the top and the bottom has a little seed pearl at the centre. A lovely and elegant style.
