SOLD Edwardian Opal & Pearl Spacer Necklace
A pretty and fine necklace from the late Edwardian period, c1915. The necklace is made from 9ct gold that has a very slight rose tint to it. Along the chain are spacers of real pearls and beads of opal that have faceted rock crystal in between. The combination of the pearls with the opal is very pretty and this makes an elegant statement on the neck. The opals have a gentle play of colour (very difficult to capture) and the pearls could very well be natural as they have a lovely irregular shape and a beautiful lustre.
