SOLD Georgian 4 Stone Diamond Ring
A quirky ring from the Georgian period, c1800s. The ring is made from 18ct gold with silver settings as was customary of this period. There are four hand cut diamonds set across the finger, in pinched collet silver settings. The setting is of the closed back variety and the diamonds are fairly dark in their appearance. The silver is backed by 18ct gold that leads into the shank and this is a lovely artisanal piece of Georgian jewellery. A ring for the lover of old pieces, rather than for the sparkle of the diamonds.
