SOLD Georgian Large Opaline Glass Earrings
£0.00
These wonderful earrings are likely to be from the late Georgian period, circa 1820, and are a lovely large size. They have stunning milky opaline glass set into a gold toned frame. The opaline has a very blue-lilac appearance and when the light catches them in a certain way, a wonderful orange glow travels through the glass. A lovely alternative to opals, popular during this period, and their size makes them extremely eye-catching. The glass is set in gold toned metal and the earrings have new solid 9kt gold shepherds hook wires.
