SOLD Georgian Turquoise & Rose Diamond Trilogy Ring
A beautiful ring from the late 18th Century, c1790s. The ring is made from 18ct gold with silver settings. It has a pretty green shade turquoise as the centre stone and this is flanked by two glittering rose cut diamonds. The diamonds have been set to give them a more triangular look and one appears darker than the other in its setting. To the back, a depiction of a rose has been pressed into the underside of the turquoise setting; a lovely and unusual touch.
This ring has been well loved and has had to have some restoration work to the settings. This has been reflected in the price. The restoration has been done sympathetically to the original designs with the aim of keeping as many original features as possible. An interesting and unusual ring from the Georgian period to be worn with care.
