SOLD Late Edwardian Pink Sapphire & Diamond Ring
A beautiful ring from the late Edwardian period, c1915. The ring is made form 18ct gold and has a wonderful pink sapphire at the centre. The sapphire is a lovely pale pink with a beautiful eye-catching vibrancy. It is claw set and flanked by two square set diamonds. The sapphire is slightly oval and measures approx 6mm x 5.5mm. The diamonds are approx 3mm in diameter. The stones are all set in platinum and the pierced stepped gallery gives the ring a beautiful profile.

Condition - Very good. Some very slight tarnishing to the platinum from the side. The pink sapphire has a little damage to the culet (the point at the bottom of the stone), noted for accuracy only.
