SOLD Late Georgian 5 Stone Rose Diamond Ring
A stunning and large late Georgian ring, c1820s. The ring is made from 15ct gold and has five beautiful rose cut diamonds that sit across the finger and are graduated in size. It seems as if these rose cut diamonds are very much in keeping with the style of the ring, though I do believe they have replaced whatever was there originally. The shank is absolutely beautiful with wonderful closed back settings and pretty little pansies on each of the shoulders. It is in excellent condition and the rose diamonds glitter prettily in their unusual gold setting. The ring has a lovely low profile making it very comfortable to wear.
