• SOLD Late Victorian 9ct Gold Spider Pendant

This item is out of stock

A striking pendant from the late Victorian period, c1900. The pendant is made from 9ct gold and has been beautifully made as a spiders web. There are very fine threads of gold woven around eight gold spindles to mimic the delicacy of a web. At the centre of this craftsmanship is a spider. The spider has a green paste cabochon stone set as its body and a head with a simulated pearl. A beautiful work of art and very vibrant with the central green stone.

The pendant hangs on a 14kt gold fill 18" chain, which will come as part of the purchase.
