SOLD Victorian 15ct Gold Double Row Turquoise Ring
A beautiful ring from the Victorian period, dated Birmingham 1873. The ring has a full English hallmark and is made from 15ct gold, .625. It is simple in design with a double row of turquoise to the top of the band. The natural turquoise are all original to the ring and have a lovely variation in colour all the way across. When viewed from the side and back, the setting and shank have such lovely details, with a little line etched out of the gold in a matching design. The ring has a lovely low profile and looks perfect worn alone or as part of a stack.
Materials - 15ct Gold, Turquoise
Age - Dated Birmingham 1873
Size - The turquoise are approx 2mm in diameter and the setting is 16mm across by 4mm wide. The shank is around 1.2mm at the back.
Ring size UK M 1/2 US 6 1/4 This ring would be best not to be resized.
Condition - Excellent. Colour variation to turquoise commensurate with age. One turquoise sits a little sunken in its setting. Noticeable in the photos, not so much in real life.
