SOLD Victorian 15ct Gold Flower Wirework Locket

A lovely simple locket from the late Victorian period, c1890s, with a hint of Art Nouveau beauty. The locket is made from 15ct gold and has a lovely simple wirework flower design to the front. The flower is framed by an oval piece of twisted wirework, mirroring the shape of the locket and is a beautiful unfussy design. To the back is the original glass fronted frame, which can be removed to place your own photo behind.

The locket will come on a fine 18" 14kt gold fill chain if required. This would be included in the price.

Age - C1890s

Size - The locket measures approx 24mm by 13mm with the bail adding an extra 7mm to the length.

Condition - Very good. There is a little ding to the bottom left hand edge. Noted for accuracy only.
