SOLD Victorian 15ct Gold Moss Agate Pansy Brooch
A beautiful brooch from the Victorian period, c1880. The brooch is made from 15ct gold and has stunning petal shaped moss agates set as a pansy. The pansy was given as a token of love and came to mean 'thinking of you', derived from the French 'penser', meaning 'to think'. This particular pansy has little gold bobbles to finish off the petals and is classically Victorian in style. A truly pretty brooch in original condition.
