Victorian 15ct Gold Seed Pearl & Diamond Butterfly Pendant on 9ct Chain
A pretty pendant from the Victorian period, likely converted from a brooch. The pendant is made from 15ct gold and is beautiful quality with a lovely old mine cut diamond at the centre. The diamond measures approximately 3mm in diameter making it around 0.1ct of diamonds. The wings of the butterfly are studded with split seed pearls. They have a lovely creamy lustre and appear to be all original. The butterfly is wonderfully expressive and has been beautifully made. The pendant hangs on a period 9ct gold chain that measures approx 17" long. The chain is also beautiful quality and the pieces look lovely together.
