SOLD Victorian 15kt Gold Rhodolite Garnet Ring
This pretty ring is from the late Victorian period and is made from 15kt gold. It is a wonderful and unusual combination with an oval rhodolite garnet at the center, which is flanked by two wonderful blue stones. On one side is a blue spinel and on the other is an iolite. The iolite is probably a replacement for what would have been a spinel originally, though the color match is very good and the combination truly unusual.
This delicate and dainty ring has etching around the graduated shank and would be a lovely addition to any stack or worn alone. It is fully hallmarked for 15kt gold and dated as Birmingham 1899.
