SOLD Victorian 18ct Gold Chrysoberyl Trilogy Ring
A pretty and elegant ring from the late Victorian period, c1890. The ring is made from 18ct gold and has three beautiful pale chrysolite stones set across the finger with the centre stone being slightly larger in size than the other two. The stones have a lovely cushion cut and have a marvellous very pale yellow colour to them that glistens beautifully - a trademark of these rare gems. The ring is a delicate piece and looks beautiful on the hand.
The setting has had to have some attention and this can be seen from the underside. Due to this, the ring is highly polished as in completing the repair, the antique patina has been lost. This does not detract from the beauty of this ring and the stones that rest within.
