• SOLD Victorian 18ct Gold Old Cut Diamond Gypsy Ring

This item is out of stock

A stunning ring from the Victorian period, c1880s. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold and has an array of five various sized diamonds set into the top in a gypsy style. The diamonds are all old mine cut diamonds and original to the ring. The two largest stones measure approx 4mm in diameter each, with the centre stone measuring around 3.5mm. Based on the mm measurements of the stones, there is around 0.65ct diamonds in the ring as a whole. The two outer diamonds are very petite, approx 1.5mm in diameter and are a lovely finishing touch to the larger trilogy. The diamonds are fairly included when viewed through a loupe, though their masterful chunky cuts mean that they still sparkle wonderfully in their setting.
