• SOLD Victorian 18ct Gold Opal Heart & Diamond Ring

This item is out of stock

An absolutely wonderful ring from the end of the Victorian period, dated Birmingham 1899. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold and is in excellent condition. It has two spectacular opals at the top that have been cut in the shape of hearts and have the most wonderful play of colour throughout. As is common with opals, these photos do not do the stones justice and they really do glow from within with incredible rainbow colours. The hearts are offset with little old cut diamonds at the centre and to each shoulder. The ring appears to be in original condition and gives wonderful finger coverage.
