SOLD Victorian 18ct Gold Peacock Feather Pendant
A stunning and rare pendant from the late Victorian period. The pendant has a beautiful peacock as its subject matter, which is seemingly made from real peacock feathers. The bird has been represented in a natural surrounding with little flowers and long grass, also made from feathers, surrounding it. The feathers are all set against a mother of pearl background and are mounted in 18ct gold. This is a truly marvellous work of art and a wonderful sized pendant. It has been preserved beautifully.
