• SOLD Victorian 18ct Gold & Rose Diamond Disc Pendant

This item is out of stock

A beautiful pendant from the late Victorian period, c1880s. The pendant is made from solid 18ct gold that has a rich colour and a lovely high shine. To the front are five flowers, each set with four rose cut diamonds and these are complimented with four single rose cut diamonds in circular settings. Each individual setting is surrounded by a little outline of black enamel. This pendant may have started life as a brooch as it has a hinged bail that would have been tucked behind the brooch when it was worn in this manner. The bail is solid 9ct gold and is a replacement to the original, though it came to me as it is. The diamonds are lively and bright and this piece is truly lovely quality.
