SOLD Victorian 18ct Gold Turquoise & Diamond Ring
A beautiful ring from the Victorian period, c1880s. The ring is made from 18ct gold and is a wonderful classic style from this period. There are five glorious turquoise gemstones set across the finger that are slightly graduated in size. In the claws of the setting and in between the turquoise are lovely little diamond chips giving the ring a subtle hint of sparkle. The turquoise are not only graduated in size, they also have different gradations of colour, from a darker green edging to a vibrant turquoise as the eye travels across the finger. The ring has a beautiful pierced gallery and a wonderful design to the shoulders, reminiscent of a fleur-de-lis. A beautiful finish to a beautiful ring.
