• SOLD Victorian 18ct Gold Unisex Diamond Locket Ring

This item is out of stock

A lovely and unusual ring from the late Victorian period, dated Birmingham 1899. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold and has a lovely full British hallmark on the inside of the shank. The ring has a beautiful interwoven knot design surrounding an oval at the centre. The oval centrepiece is studded with diamonds, the central diamond is an old mine cut and the four outer diamonds are lovely glittering rose cuts. This central oval top can be removed from position and behind, there is a little cavity for a keepsake. It is large enough for a lock of hair or for a photo and holds in place securely when placed back into position. This ring could be worn by either a man or woman and has a lovely chunky signet-style look on the hand.
