Victorian 18kt Gold & Silver Paste Drop Earrings
A wonderful bright pair of earrings from the late Victorian period. The earrings have absolutely beautiful, bright white paste gemstones set into silver claw settings. The paste are so clean and bright, they truly have the sparkle of diamonds. The earrings have dormeuse fastenings that are 18kt gold (marked on the inside of the fastening with 18K) and the silver settings are also backed by gold. The gold has a pretty rosy tint to it, complimenting the silver and paste perfectly. These earrings are a lovely solid quality and look beautiful when worn.
