SOLD Victorian 9ct Gold Buckle & Flower Design Locket
A beautiful and large locket from the late Victorian period, c1890. The locket has wonderful etching on both sides; one side has a buckle in a circle, said to represent two people joining together to create an everlasting bond in that the circle has no end. The other side depicts a pretty spray of flowers. Both etchings are superbly crafted and the locket itself has a beautiful shiny gold quality.
Inside there are two frames that can be removed to place your own photos or momentos behind. The locket is finished with a faceted gold bale and is beautiful quality overall.

Size - Loclet measures approx 33mm long by 28mm wide. The bale adds an extra 7mm to the length.
Condition - Excellent. One very small file mark near the bale, noted for accuracy only.
