• SOLD Victorian 9ct Gold Diamond Bangle

This item is out of stock

A wonderful bracelet from the late Victorian period, c1890s.  The bracelet is made from 9ct gold and has a classic Victorian design across the top with off square shapes highlighted with little gold balls all along the edges. The top is a solid gold panel, whilst the rest of the bangle is made from three finer bangles held together at points along the circumference, a classic style to this period. Set in the centre of each of the three squares are three old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds are subtle, yet beautiful, and add a lovely hint of sparkle to this beautiful gold bangle. It is perfect for daywear, but could also be jazzed up for evening too. It has a secure tongue clasp with a safety chain for extra security.

Materials - 9ct Gold (tested), Diamonds

    Age - C1890s

Size - The centre point of the bracelet measures approx 15mm wide, narrowing to 3mm at the back. The largest central diamond is approx 3mm in diameter. Internal diameter of 53mm, wrist size approx 6" to 6 1/4".

Condition - Very good. A little antique patina to the gold and a couple of very minor dings at either end of the panel. The central diamond sits a little lower in its setting than the others, noted for accuracy only. I believe there has been a small repair to one strand of the bracelet at one tiny point, again, noted for accuracy only.
