• SOLD Victorian 9ct Gold Garnet Swirl Drop Earrings

This item is out of stock

A beautiful pair of earrings from the late Victorian period, c1890s. The earrings are made from 9ct gold and are a lovely long drop with a beautiful swirl design at the bottom. At the centre of the swirl is a stunning flat cut garnet, which has been set in a pinched collet setting. The swirls hang from a pretty bobble design and their cross of textured gold around them carries on the feeling of movement all the way to the hook.

Materials - 9ct Gold, Flat Cut Garnet

    Age - C1890s

Size - The drops measure approx 40mm from the top of the ball at the top to the bottom of the swirl. The garnet is approx 4mm wide

Condition - Very good. There is a possibility that these earrings are made up of antique components. They came to me as they are and all elements certainly date to the late Victorian period.
