• SOLD Victorian Centennial Bohemian Garnet 'C' Ring

This item is out of stock

An incredible piece of American history. This ring was made in the late 19th Century to commemorate 100 years since America's independence. The shoulders of the ring have the dates 1776 and 1876 on each side fashioned from wonderful turquoise enamel. At the centre of the ring is the letter 'C', to indicate 'Centennial', made from individually set bohemian garnets. To the centre of the C is white enamel to highlight the outline of the letter.

The ring is made from solid 10k gold and could be worn in memory of that for which it was created or as an initial ring for someone whose name begins with 'C'. Either way, it is a wonderful piece of history and a fabulous piece of Victorian jewellery.
