SOLD Victorian Flat Cut Garnet Cross Pendant
£0.00
A pretty and simple cross from the Victorian period, c1860s. The cross is made from garnet gold, a very low grade gold formed by adding an element of gold to base metal. Red garnets were set into this type of gold metal regularly during this period. The cross has six delicious deep red flat cut garnets set in the form of a traditional cross. It is small in size and looks beautiful worn on the next alone or as part of a stack of jewels.
The cross will come on an 18" 14kt gold fill chain as pictured.
